Castle & Co. and its subisdiaries, affiliates and divisions (“Castle,” “we,” “us,” “our”) respects the privacy of our online visitors.  Our privacy practices are described below to inform you how we collect, use, and share personal and device information obtained from people visiting the Castle website (“you,” “your,” “user,” “visitor”). This Privacy Statement only applies to the Castle website.  By using the Castle website, you agree to this Privacy Statement and consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Statement. The Information We Collect From You

We may collect the following information from you:

1. “Personal Information” - Information such as your full name, employer, position, email address, mailing address, telephone number, and company credit card numbers;

2.  “Device Information” - Information about you or your activities through which you cannot be personally identified. 
We collect Personal Information and Device Information (collectively, “information”) from you through your use of our website or other online services or applications, as well as from third parties. If you do not provide some or all of the information we request, we may not be able to provide you with certain services or information provided on our website. 

The Purposes of Collecting Your Information

We use the information that we gather about you for the following purposes:

What Information is Shared with Third Parties

We may also share your information with other Castle entities or unrelated third parties (including contractors who provide services to us) to assist with any of the purposes of collecting information described above. For example, we may share and/or provide your information with/to third parties that assist with the operation, administration, or maintenance of our website. Some of these parties are located in countries that do not provide an equivalent level of protection as your home country, including the United States where A&M Castle & Co. is located and where our website is hosted. Castle has taken appropriate measures to allow and secure the transfer of your personal information to these recipients for the purposes described above and in order to comply with local data privacy laws, including Castle’s U.S. operations self-certifying to the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework. Please note that the privacy policies of such third parties may also apply. Castle does not make a practice of selling or otherwise supplying Personal Information to others unless we are required to do so by law or unless it is pertinent to judicial, administrative or governmental investigations or proceedings. We are committed to ensuring that your Personal Information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the Personal Information we collect online about you.

Safe Harbor

Please note that if you use the Castle website in the European Union (“EU”), Personal Information about you may be transferred outside the EU.  Castle recognizes that the European Union has an “omnibus” data protection regime established pursuant to the European Data Protection Directive (95/46/EC) (the “Directive”). Among other things, the Directive generally requires “adequate protection” for the transfer of personally identifiable information about individuals in the European Union countries to Castle’s operations in the United States. Castle accordingly adheres to the requirements of the US-EU Safe Harbor Privacy Framework (“Safe Harbor”) as set forth by the US Department of Commerce with respect to the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries. Castle has certified that it adheres to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access, and enforcement. Castle provides its EU employees with more detailed information about its data handling practices through internal company policies. Storage of Personal Information

We will retain Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Statement and as otherwise needed to comply with applicable law and internal company policies.

Access & Correction of Personal Information

You can request access to Personal Information we hold about you, to have inaccurate Personal Information updated, corrected or removed, and to object to the processing of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Statement for legitimate purposes, except where data processing is implemented in compliance with mandatory provisions of applicable law. Please email your request to privacy@amcastle.com. Please state “Request/Remove/Change Personal Information” in the subject line of your email.

We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable in compliance with applicable law and/or regulations.

Opting Out of Castle Communications

If you no longer want to receive marketing-related communications from Castle, you may opt- out of receiving such communications by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email newsletter you receive from us.  You may also contact us directly at the email listed below under “Contacting Us” to unsubscribe from our marketing-related communications.

Please allow reasonable time for us to process your request. However, please note that even if you opt-out from receiving marketing-related communications, we may need to send you service-related communications and keep information collected about you for record-keeping, research, and other purposes.
